Consulting performs studies for sites on the water to determine
the feasibility of permitting docks or the ability to permit
a dredge. To perform such studies requires a thorough knowledge
of all of the regulatory rules of each agency that may have
purview. We refer to this approach as the “envelope
approach” in that all of the rules are applied to
define what is the area available for the required construction
or dredge activity. These studies may or may not require
field investigations, such as benthic or bathymetry surveys.
If required, Woods Consulting has qualified staff to perform
the surveys. The end product is an opinion by Woods Consulting
as to the feasibility of permitting the desired construction
as well as defining in detail the path forward to obtain
all required permits. |
